Made from white cotton with a stay-dry and stay-soft fleece lining, the Big Softie has a number of features that makes it a real winner. For newborns, the nappy is poppered down at the front to shorten the height, then the nappy is fastened in place using a Nappi Nippa giving a snug and not too bulky fit from around 7lbs. If your newborn is very little, you can just use the boosters on their own inside a close fitting wrap, before you move onto the nappy itself.

As baby gets bigger the Big Softie nappy is unpoppered at the front to increase the height and the boosters are added as required (behind the fleece lining so this is still closest to the skin). The boosters supplied with the Big Softie are a cotton / microfibre mix, making them very absorbent and suitable right through to that heavy-wetting toddler stage. If you need even more absorbency at night you can add a hemp or bamboo booster as required.
