Some local and national council schemes that offer help with your cloth nappy journey! . . .

Devon Real Nappy Project
Our own Devon Real Nappy Project, run by Devon County Council has funded a number of Real Nappy Trial Kits, allowing parents to try a set of cloth nappies for one month to help you to decide if real nappies are for you and if so, which ones you would like to buy.

The Totnes Nappy Company have kits for the South Hams and Torbay areas. If you would like to put your name down for one of these kits please contact us well in advance of your due date as they get booked up pretty quickly. The hire of the kits is free for a month, but DCC ask that we hold a £50 cheque - which will not be cashed and will be destroyed when we collect the nappies. The kits contain a selection of all the best cloth nappies on the market so that you can really get to grips with which nappies will suit your baby.

If you are in a another Devon Area (except Teignbridge - see below) please contact nappies@recycledevon.org or 0800 328 8175 to find the Devon Real Nappy Trial Kit provider in your area. There are DRNP Hire kits all over Devon so there should be one near you.

Once you have used a Devon Real Nappy Project kit you are under no obligation whatsoever to buy nappies from us or anyone else.

Teignbridge run their own Nappy Trial Kit Scheme - call Belinda Ayres, Recycling Administrator on 01626 215879 for more information. The Teignbridge scheme runs differently to the Devon Real Nappy Project Trial Kits and offers users of the scheme a voucher at the end of your trial. Unfortunately this voucher can only be redeemed with one nappy company so we are unable to participate in this Council Scheme.

If you have a RNfL Voucher and you would like to use it to order from us please place your order online and select Payment by Cheque. Then post us your Voucher and a cheque for any remaining amount above the value of your Voucher.
