Flushable Paper Liners
Flushable paper liners make life easy! You flush the liner and contents down the toilet leaving the nappy clean (in theory - it doesn't work every time!). Then you can simply store your wet nappies in a dry bucket until wash day. Paper liners really come into their own once your baby is weaned. Lots of people find that using washable fleece liners for the first 6 months, then paper liners after that, works really well.
Which flushable paper liners should I buy?
We have 2 main types of flushable liners:
Cellulose Viscose liners (Tots Bots liners, Little Lamb Viscose liners and Earthlets Softy liners) which are thin, very soft and break down most sucessfully when flushed. If you are worried about your plumbing then try one of these liners first. These liners are single use.
Thicker paper liners (Earthlets Ultra Liners and Imse Vimse Liners) - These liners have the benefit of being washable when just wet and will stand up to being washed 3 or 4 times. They are thick and can be used as flushable wipes as well as liners.
